AJRI've never heard of the place, and I live in Kent. Nevertheless, I dutifully searched my books on Kent, and guess what I turned up..

.. nothing !!

Sorry to be no help whatsoever.
Andrew

castleukThanks ipflo and AJR
I think i'm barking up the wrong castle. Chris.
Ann-MarieI have heard of Kent hall. I am even sure i went there once. But not from lack of trying I just can't work out anything useful to tell you. If you knew where about's it is or was it might jog my memory.
County Hall is in Maidstone, as is bishops palace.
Maybe one of the Kent's history museums will be able to help you. I know there is a large one in Maidstone and there is also a coach museum there that may hold information as well. Good luck.
LevanPerhaps you should try looking in Yorkshire - after all, you'd hardly expect to find Leeds castle in Kent! A hitherto undiscovered mediaevil castle exchange scheme may be in operation ;-)

LevanThere is a Kent Hall in Seven Sisters, North London UK. It's now a hotel.
